An urban highline in Jules Unlimited.

In February I got asked by the members of Dreamwalkers to work together during the TV recordings in Duisburg, Germany. At the Landschaftspark in Duisburg we meet up with the TV crew and the host of the show: Eva Koreman.  The goal of the TV show is to get better understanding about highlining. In the last few weeks Eva Koreman has been practicing slacklining in the park so she would be prepared for a 80 high and 30m long highline.

Eva helped us to rig the highline. Behind the scenes I explain her about rigging and talk with her about her own fears. Even though you prepare yourself mentally for highlining , it can take years before someone is mentally ready to take this step. Beginners often go on the line and just sit there. This experience can be so frustrating but it belongs to the highline learning curve. How highlining is for beginners is really well captured by the TV crew of Jules Unlimited.
